1. What EDGE gear is available for flag football?

2. What is a Playmaker Wrist Coach?

The Playmaker is a wearable playbook that keeps your team’s calls close at hand. It holds three play sheets and features a magnet-and-Velcro closure for quick access between plays.

3. What’s the difference between Adult, Female-Fit, and Youth Wrist Coaches?

The Adult Playmaker offers our standard fit. The Female-Fit version is tapered specifically for girls’ and women’s wrists, while the Youth version has a smaller footprint for younger players. Each features three play-sheet windows and an arm-specific design.

4. Should I order a left- or right-wrist coach?

Choose the wrist you’ll wear it on, not your throwing hand. Most players wear their wrist coach on their non-throwing arm, so a right-handed quarterback would usually choose the left-wrist version.

5. What size are the Playmaker’s play-sheet windows?

The Adult Playmaker has 4.75" × 2.75" windows, the Female-Fit has 4.75" × 2.50" windows, and the Youth has 4" × 2" windows. Match your printed play sheets to your specific model.

6. How do I put plays into my wrist coach?

Slide your printed play sheets beneath the clear windows. For easier insertion, slide them over the placeholder cards already inside. Check your model’s window dimensions before printing.

7. Can I wash my Playmaker Wrist Coach?

Yes. Our Adult, Female-Fit, and Youth Playmaker Wrist Coaches are machine washable. Let them air dry before putting them back into your game-day rotation.

8. Why choose the EDGE Playmaker Wrist Coach over a basic wristband?

Not all wrist coaches are built the same. The EDGE Playmaker combines our patented Edge Shield Grip, a magnet-and-Velcro closure, and a tapered, arm-specific fit designed to help limit slipping and rotation. Three clear play-sheet windows keep your calls close at hand, while machine-washable materials make cleanup easy. 9. What makes ApexGrip Elite Arm Sleeves different?

ApexGrip Elite Arm Sleeves combine full-arm compression with a patented grip zone designed to help with ball control. They also feature quick-dry, moisture-wicking fabric and UV protection for outdoor play.

10. Are ApexGrip Elite Arm Sleeves sold individually or as a pair?

They’re sold as a matched pair of two sleeves. Wear both for a coordinated look or wear one based on your preference.

11. Are EDGE performance products just for tackle football?

No. Our Apex Performance Compression Shirts are also designed for flag football, training, running, and multi-sport workouts. Choose your gear based on the activity, fit, and features you need.

12. How should an Apex Performance Compression Shirt fit?

The Apex Football Compression Shirt is designed for a close, second-skin fit rather than a loose T-shirt feel. Its four-way stretch fabric moves with you during practice and competition. Check the product’s sizing information before ordering. Size down for a tighter fit. 

13. Can I wear my Apex Performance Compression Shirt under a jersey?

Yes. Wear it as a base layer beneath a team jersey or shoulder pads, or on its own for practice and training. Its low-profile flat lock seams help keep the fit smooth under other gear.

14. What fabric is used in the Apex Performance Compression Shirt?

The Apex Football Compression Shirt uses an 88% polyester and 12% spandex blend. It combines moisture-wicking, rapid-dry fabric with four-way stretch and UPF 30 sun protection.

15. Is the Game Day Sling Bag waterproof?

It’s water-repellent, not waterproof. It’s designed to handle morning dew, wet sidelines, and light rain, but it isn’t intended for heavy downpours. The adjustable strap fits youth players through adults.

16. Can we order matching or customized gear for our team?

Yes. Team and bulk orders are available, with customization options depending on the product. 17. What’s the difference between EDGE flag football gear and performance gear?

Think of flag football as the game and performance as the gear that works across sports. Our flag football selection brings together products for females: play-calling, ball control, and tournament days, including Playmaker Wrist Coaches and Game Day Sling Bags. Our performance gear includes compression shirts, sleeves, and turf tape for tackle competition. The two overlap: many EDGE products work for both flag and tackle football, as well as other athletic activities.

18. Do girls play tackle football?

Yes! Girls and women play tackle football as well as flag football. Flag uses flag pulls instead of tackles, while tackle football involves contact and protective equipment. Our Playmaker Wrist Coaches are designed for both formats. Always check your team or league’s equipment requirements before game day.

19. What size wrist coach should I buy?

Start with the fit that best matches your wrist and forearm. The Youth Playmaker is scaled for smaller youth arms. The Female-Fit Playmaker offers a closer, tapered shape designed for girls and women. The Adult Playmaker is our standard fit for larger wrists and forearms. Don’t choose by age alone: compare the specific product’s sizing information and contact us if you need help deciding.

20. How should my wrist coach fit?

Your wrist coach should feel snug and secure without digging in or restricting movement. Its tapered, arm-specific shape is designed to help limit slipping and rotation. You should be able to open the cover, read your plays, and move your wrist comfortably. Choose the left- or right-wrist version for the arm you plan to wear it on.

21. Does EDGE have team partnerships?

23. How do the knee sleeve and turf tape help keep my brace from sliding down?

Both products use grip to help reduce brace movement. The AMS Anti-Migration Compression Leg Sleeve combines a compression fit with an anti-slip grip designed to help keep a separate knee brace in position. Apex Elite Turf Tape uses a textured silicone-grip surface that engages with the inside of the brace, providing a less bulky alternative to a full sleeve. Follow the product’s application guidance and your brace manufacturer’s fitting instructions. 

24. What can I keep in my Crossbody Sling Bag?

Keep your sideline essentials close: your phone, keys, ID, mouthguard, and Playmaker Wrist Coach. The main compartment can hold items such as a spare shirt, cleats,  snacks, and extra flags, while the front zip pocket keeps smaller essentials easy to reach. Pack according to the size of your items so you can move comfortably between fields.

25. What can I use Apex Elite Turf Tape for?

Apex Elite Turf Tape is designed to help shield skin from turf friction and brace rubbing. Its textured grip can also help keep a knee brace in position or add a grip surface when applied to the arms or wrists for ball control. It comes in 4-inch by 20-foot rolls in black, white, and hot pink. Choose your application to suit your sport and follow the product’s usage instructions.

26. How do I choose my arm sleeve size?

We recommend to size down one size from your normal sleeve for a tight sompressed fit. There is a no slip strip at the top to keep the sleeve in place Your sleeve should feel snug without digging in or restricting movement. Most women wear a youth small. 27. How do I choose my knee sleeve size?

Check the sizing information for the AMS Anti-Migration Compression Leg Sleeve before ordering. Sizing is based on thigh measurements and is included in the product section here: https://weartheedge.com › products › football-compression-leg-sleeve. Choose a secure, comfortable fit that does not restrict movement. If you plan to use it with a knee brace or need help choosing a size, email win@weartheedge.com and tell us which brace you use.

28. Do you offer overnight shipping?

Overnight shipping can be requested by emailing win@weartheedge.com. The cutoff for overnight shipping requests is 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Please contact us to arrange overnight shipping for your order.

29. What is your return or exchange policy?

You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Items must be unworn or unused, with tags, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Custom products, sale items, and gift cards are not eligible for return. Email win@weartheedge.com before sending anything back. For an exchange, request a return first; once it is accepted, make a separate purchase for the replacement item.
